Emergency Neonatal ICU & Critical Care

Community Animal Health & Disease Prevention Collaborative

A women & youth-led, veterinarian-directed 501(c)(3) providing emergency ICU-level neonatal and critical-care lifesaving efforts, transport, and community disease response for vulnerable kittens across South Louisiana.

Veterinary Leadership & Medical Oversight

Because of Brucey is not a traditional rescue. We operate as an emergency neonatal ICU and critical-care program, guided by veterinary leadership and clinical protocols to support medically fragile and high-risk kittens when minutes matter.

What We Do

Emergency Neonatal ICU & Critical Care

Emergency Neonatal ICU & Critical Care
We provide ICU-level neonatal and critical-care medicine for orphaned, injured, and medically fragile kittens. Care includes advanced monitoring, stabilization, intensive treatment, and ongoing medical oversight when survival depends on rapid intervention.

Transport & Rapid Medical Response

Transport & Rapid Medical Response
Because lifesaving care is often time-sensitive, we coordinate emergency intake and medical transport to ensure vulnerable kittens can access critical care without delay—often bridging gaps in local veterinary and shelter capacity.

Community Disease Response & Prevention

Community Disease Response & Prevention
Beyond individual cases, we work collaboratively to address community-level disease risk through veterinary-guided response, education, and prevention efforts—helping reduce mortality and improve outcomes across the region.
